We are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beloved colleague, Lisa Derrisaw, who left us unexpectedly and too soon after a brief illness this past September. Lisa was a talented interior designer and a cherished member of the Kaz Home Improvements family since 2017. Her passion for creating beautiful and functional spaces was infectious, and she had a remarkable ability to bring her clients’ visions to life.
Lisa’s passion for interior design was evident from a young age, and her talent shone through in every project she undertook. She had an extraordinary ability to transform spaces, creating environments that were not only beautiful but also perfectly suited to the needs and desires of her clients.
“Lisa was a remarkable individual who brought so much joy and creativity to our team,” said Rick Kaz, President of Kaz Home Improvements. “Her dedication to her craft and her commitment to our customers were unparalleled. We extend our deepest condolences to Lisa’s family and to the entire Kaz family of customers who were fortunate enough to have worked with her.”
Lisa will be deeply missed by her colleagues, clients, and friends. Her legacy will live on in the beautiful spaces she created and in the hearts of those who knew her.
In memory of Lisa, Kaz Home Improvements is raising funds for the Villa Maria College Interior Design Program. Lisa was passionate about interior design and in her name, we want to help show support to a program she would be proud to see grow. Stating once that school recess ignited Lisa’s passion, she said “When I was young, I would clear the pea gravel playground into floor plans depicting living spaces that I would actually love to live in.”
